Vintage Cellar Tasting Notes:
This opens with dark aromas of leather, tobacco, cured meat, plum and prune. It shows soft tannins and loads of dark fruit on the finish.
Personal Tasting Notes:
This wine had a dark red cherry color. Additionally, there was strong tannins which gave the wine a very dry and tacky mouth feel. Also there were strong flavors of blueberries, black berries and sour cherries. I did also detected the spicy and slightly smoky flavors of tobacco. Finally, I believe this wine, would go well with a nice large portion of red meat like steak.
